H&M has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Power Construction Consulting JSC 2 (PECC2) under the Direct Power Purchase Agreements (DPPA) scheme in Vietnam. This makes H&M the first global fashion brand to participate in the initiative, which encourages businesses in Vietnam to adopt renewable energy sources like solar power.
The agreement aligns with Vietnam’s push for sustainable energy solutions, highlighting H&M’s dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and supporting green energy transitions within its supply chain.
