Prime Solar Solutions Corporation, a subsidiary of Prime Infra, has launched a 64 MW solar power plant in Maragondon, Philippines. This project, alongside a second facility, will collectively supply 128 MW of energy annually, powering around 84,000 households. A 50 MW, 20-year power supply agreement has been signed with Meralco with the remaining output to be fed into the grid.

The project aligns with promoting sustainable energy and its potential to generate local employment, stimulate economic growth, and attract investments. The Philippines had installed 1,675 MW of solar power by the end of 2023, with expectations for up to 2 GW to come online in 2024.
