Prime Energy Resources Development, a subsidiary of Razon-led Prime Infrastructure, has announced plans to start drilling for new gas in the Malampaya Phase 4 drilling program by 2025, with the aim of supplying new gas by 2026.
The equipment will be used to drill two new deepwater wells in the Camago and Malampaya East fields. Further, Malampaya Service Contract 38, governing the project, has been extended until February 2039, ensuring continued development and maintenance activities to extend the platform’s operational life.
