ACEN Corporation plans to invest PHP8 billion till 2030 to add 8 GW of new renewable capacity in the Philippines. Currently, around 1 GW of RE capacity is under construction, with most of these expected to be operational in the near future.

Most of the capacity will be added through onshore solar and wind projects, although the company plans to foray into new technologies including battery energy storage, floating solar and offshore wind.

Additionally, ACEN plans to add about 3 GW of RE capacity and 2 GW in Vietnam by 2030.
