TGS Tra Vinh Green Hydrogen Company has commenced works on a hydrogen plant in the Tra Vinh province in southern Vietnam. The USD341 million plant will be the first and largest hydrogen facility in the country. The plant is scheduled to come online in 2025. Once operational, it will be able to produce around 24,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and 195,000 tonnes of oxygen yearly.
The hydrogen project will be key in making Tra Vinh province one of the green energy centres in the Mekong Delta region.
