PT MRT Jakarta has awarded a joint venture (JV) company comprising Shimizu Corporation and PT Adhi Karya Tbk the Contract Package (CP) 202 for works on the second phase of the Jakarta mass rapid transit (MRT) North–South Line in Indonesia. This contract package will cover construction on three stations and a 1.84 km underground section.
The North–South Line Phase 2 will be 6 km long with seven stations and link Bundaran H.I. Station and the Kota district in northern Jakarta. Passenger service on Phase 2 is expected to commence in 2029.
Construction will be divided into three contract packages. The CP201 package covering works on the section between Bundaran H.I. Station to Harmoni Station (2.67 km) was awarded to the Shimizu–Adhi Karya JV in March 2020.
