dnata has completed the installation of a 3.5 MWp rooftop solar system at Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN) including the cargo and catering facilities. The system includes 6,500 solar panels and is expected to generate over 4,300 MWh of energy annually. The rooftop system will also aid in offsetting carbon emissions from operations by 20 per cent per year.
dnata has increased its investments in infrastructure and equipment in recent years to increase operating efficiency and achieve a strategic goal of decreasing its carbon footprint by 20 per cent by 2024.
