China-based Longi Solar, a photovoltaics (PV) manufacturer, has completed the installation of a 1.47 MWp rooftop solar power system in Vietnam for Toyota Boshoku Group, an automobile interior system manufacturer. Longi supplied solar modules from the Hi-MO 4 series for this project, while Solar Electric Vietnam JSC (SEV) undertook the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work.
The new solar array is estimated to offset more than 1,582 MWh of energy consumption per year for Toyota Boshoku Group.
