Construction has started on the Nexif Energy Ben Tre nearshore wind farm (NEBT) in Vietnam. The project will be carried out in partnership with Singapore-based Nexif Energy and Thailand-based Ratch Group Public Company Limited (RATCH). The two firms will also oversee operations of the wind farm once it starts functioning.  The NEBT wind farm has an installed capacity of 80 MW and is located in the Thanh Phu district about 160 kilometres southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. The farm will also feature 19 Goldwind 155-4.5MW wind turbines. Total power generated from the farm will be supplied to Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN) under a 20-year power purchase agreement

Construction activities on the NEBT wind farm commenced on May 15, 2021 and is expected to be completed within 19 months. China-based SEPCO3, a construction and engineering company has been selected as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and operations and management (O&M) contractor for the project.
