The Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia, plans to complete 13 railway projects in 2018. These include the 26 km railway line of the Minangkabau International Airport, the 85 km Prabumulih-Kertapati national railway line and the 32 km Martapura-Baturaja  dual railway line. Further, the 5.8 km Jakarta light rail transit (LRT) is also expected to commence commercial operations by September 2018. The 44 km Barru-Palanro railway line in Sulawesi, the 21.5 km Bandar Tinggi-Kuala Tanjung railway line in North Sumatra, the 13.5 km Adi Soemarmo Airport railway line and two railway lines of the Maja-Rangkasbitung segment spanning 17 km are also expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
