Vietinbank was awarded the “Vietnam Outstanding Electronic-banking (E-banking) Award” and Home Credit won the “Best Financial Company” award at the 6th Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2017.
The awards were organised by the International Data Group (IDG) and the Vietnam Banks Association to honour banks that have made contributions to the banking and finance sector.
Vietinbank has been recognised for its fast and safe online payment services like iPay, internet banking and mobile banking. In 2017, the bank launched new e-banking applications to allow users to make tax payments, buy movie tickets, activate or lock online cards and add bonus points as loyalty customers. Vietinbank is the first bank to provide QR Pay services for VNPT and Vinaphone’s bill payments in 63 provinces and cities across the country.
Home Credit is a consumer finance company which offers consumer lending packages with three main products, namely, motorbike purchase loans, loans for buying home appliances and electronics items, and cash-based loans. The company has also launched new products in the education sector in partnership with Wall Street English and in the healthcare sector in association with California Fitness and Yoga Centres.
