PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) was recognised as the “Most Trusted Company” while state-owned electricity company Perusahaan Listrik Negara was recognised as the “Trusted Company” at the Good Corporate Governance Awards 2017 held in Indonesia. The awards were organised by SWA magazine together with the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance under the theme “Corporate Governance in Sustainability Perspective”.
The awards are based on the Corporate Governance Perception Index, which covers 11 aspects of assessment – commitment, transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness, competence, mission, leadership, collaboration, and risk.
The awards are given to recognise public and non-public companies that show commitment and implement good corporate governance in a sustainable manner.
