The state-run Philippine National Railways (PNR) has extended the services of the Metro South Commuter Train to Calamba, Laguna. Initially, two trains will ply on the Manila–Calamba route daily. The number will be doubled in early 2015 and is expected to serve an additional 3,000–5,000 passengers daily.
