Around 153 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed at 111 Housing Board (HDB) carparks as well as National Parks Board and JTC Corporation carparks across Singapore. Deployment of the charging stations commenced in September 2022 under a tender awarded to Charge+ by the Government of Singapore in 2021
The move is in line with the Ministry of Transport’s (MOT) plans to install at least three new charging stations in all of the 2,000 HDB carparks by 2026. Additionally, the Government of Singapore is aiming to install around 60,000 new EV charging points by 2023.
