Telekom PT SmartFren (Smartfren), in partnership with Mitel, has launched Indonesia’s first voice-over-LTE and video-over-LTE service. The service is powered by SPIRIT DSP’s TeamSpirit Mobile Video Call SDK solution. The solution allows telecom operators to develop high quality IP-based voice and video services even on low density networks in developing countries. Moreover, the new VoLTE service supports Smartfren’s recently announced Andromax LTE mobile device launch.
