Pek Hak Bin has been appointed as the new head of KPMG’s Energy and Natural Resources practice in Singapore. He will now lead the KPMG energy team in Singapore to provide consulting and market research services as well as advise energy clients in the Asia-Pacific region on business transformation, risks management, performance improvement and mergers and acquisitions. He will also lead a new KPMG Global Energy Institute for the region.

Pek, who stepped down as Country President of oil major BP Singapore in early February this year, is a trained industry professional with some 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. A well-known energy specialist in Asia, Pek spent three years in Halliburton Energy Services and 15 years in BP. He is an Accountancy graduate of the Nanyang Technological University.
