The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved USD17.6 million investment for Green Sustainable Ventures Company Limited’s (GSV’s) 30 hectare solar farm in Bavet town, in the Svay Rieng province. The farm will generate 4.67 million kW of energy per year. The project is expected to create 150 new jobs.
The approval for GSV’s solar farm is a part of CDC’s approval of USD70 million investments in seven new factories that are collectively expected to create more than 2,600 new jobs.
