Yude Solar Technologies, a subsidiary of GoodWe Group, and Indonesian engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company PT Selaras Daya Utama (SEDAYUSolar) have established a joint venture to develop, finance, construct and operate commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility-scale solar projects in Indonesia. The partnership aims to establish an integrated platform covering project development, investment, engineering, construction and long-term operations.
The joint venture will focus on rooftop solar installations for commercial and industrial facilities, ground-mounted systems and larger utility-scale projects. The partners will also explore the integration of battery energy storage systems (BESS), where appropriate. Yude Solar will contribute its project development, investment and technology capabilities, while SEDAYUSolar will provide local expertise and EPC experience. Yude Solar has developed and commissioned more than 3 GW of residential and C&I solar projects, while SEDAYUSolar, established in 2009, reports delivering more than 250 solar projects across Indonesia.
The companies aim to build a scalable platform for developing and operating a portfolio of solar assets in Indonesia and supporting Yude Solar’s expansion across Southeast Asia. However, the announcement did not disclose specific project locations, target capacity, investment commitments, construction timelines or the ownership split between the partners.
