The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) will commence construction on the T2 terminal of the Cat Bi International Airport in Q4 of 2023. The site clearance and land transfer will be completed by Q3 before early works begin. The project is expected to cost USD103 million.
Terminal T2 will serve domestic flights, while the existing T1 will serve as the main international terminal of the airport.
Once operational, the T2 terminal will increase the airport’s capacity to handle 5 million passengers annually, which will be increased to 10 million passengers in the future.
