Work starts on 90 megawatt wind farm in Vietnamese southern province

The Trung Nam Group has started work on a wind farm with a capacity of 90 MW in the central province of Ninh Thuan in Vietnam. The estimated cost of the project is $180 million. The farm is located in the Bac Phong and Thuan Hai communes of Thuan Bac districts and includes 45 wind turbines, each of which has a capacity of 2 MW. The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2017.
