Work on the Nam Ngum 3 hydropower station project in Laos has been expedited. The project, worth $1.29 billion, is being implemented by Sinohydro Bureau 10 Corporation Limited, a China-based company. The power station has a designed installed capacity of 480 MW. Work on the project began in November 2015.
