Sweden-based Volvo and Scania have delivered over 400 buses to Indonesia-based Transportation Jakarta. Volvo supplied 116 maxi buses for service on Corridors 5 and 10 of the Jakarta bus rapid transit (BRT) system (TransJakarta). Scania has supplied 300 low-floor buses for services on routes outside the TransJakarta corridors. The average daily ridership of the BRT, spanning 230.9 km and covering 258 stops, is estimated to be 580,000 passengers.
