Vietnam Railways (VNR) has launched a new rail freight link between Vietnam and Belgium, with the first train departing from Hanoi’s Yen Vien station and arriving in Liege City, Belgium. The train will carry 23 containers and will make a stop at Zhenzhou, China, before connecting to the Asia-Europe train to get to its final destination.
This is the first container freight train operated by the Rail Transport and Trade Joint Stock Company (Ratraco) in collaboration with transport companies from other nations to provide logistics services to clients from Vietnam.
