Visa has introduced its second contactless payment system in the Philippines, partnering with Good Transport Solutions Incorporation (GTSI) and GHL to facilitate cashless transactions on modern jeepneys in Bacolod City. The initiative equips 45 jeepneys with Visa payment terminals, allowing passengers to pay fares by tapping their Visa cards.
This system also enables users to link their EastWest Visa credit cards to smartphones via the EastWest Pay app, enhancing convenience for both locals and tourists in light of increased visitor arrivals in Bacolod.
