Central Project Management Board (CPMB), a unit of state-owned Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), has recently energised both the 220/110/22 kV─125 MVA transformers of the 220 kV Muong La substation, bringing the project to completion.
While the EVN’s subsidiary National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) had invested an amount of VND387.14 billion for the project, the CPMB on behalf of EVNNPT, was responsible for project management. The substation is expected to meet power demand for areas in the Son La province, while transmitting electricity from small hydroelectricity plants in the province to the national grid.
