Nico Echavarria has been appointed as the Director for Sales Management and Country Head of Vertiv for the Philippines. In this role, Echavarria will lead the company’s market strategy and sales execution in the country, aligning local operations with regional and global priorities. His appointment comes amid accelerating digitalisation in the Philippines, which is driving demand for resilient and energy-efficient critical infrastructure, particularly with the expansion of artificial intelligence and compute-intensive applications.
The company stated that Echavarria will focus on strengthening engagement with customers and partners across sectors such as business process outsourcing, banking and financial services, healthcare, government, telecommunications, and enterprise. He is expected to play a key role in supporting organisations as they scale infrastructure capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure continuity in increasingly data-driven environments.
Prior to joining Vertiv, Echavarria held leadership roles at Schneider Electric Philippines and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he led initiatives in energy management and mission-critical infrastructure. He brings extensive experience in designing and deploying scalable and sustainable infrastructure solutions, with a focus on addressing power availability, operational efficiency, and long-term infrastructure development.
