Vietnam Airlines, AirAsia Bhd, Changi Airport and the Philippines’ Department of Tourism won various awards at CAPA Asia Pacific Aviation and Corporate Travel Summit 2017 held in Singapore.

Vietnam Airlines won the CAPA Asia Pacific Airline of the Year award for dynamic growth, high level of profitability and successful partial privatisation.

AirAsia Berhad won the CAPA Asia Pacific Low Cost Airline of the Year Award for its consistent industry leading financial performance and innovative expansion.

Changi Airport, Singapore, won the CAPA Asia Pacific Large Airport of the Year Award for the opening of Terminal 4 and its commitment for further capacity development.

The Department of Tourism of the Philippines won the CAPA Asia Pacific Tourism Organisation of the Year Award for achieving high growth in inbound tourism, for its targeted effort to attract new airlines and for new air services.

The CAPA Aviation Awards for Excellence focuses on strategic leadership in the aviation industry, recognising airlines and airports that have shown outstanding performance and provided industry leadership in adjusting to new environments.
