Vantris Energy has secured offshore transportation and installation work and tender-assisted drilling rig contracts in Malaysia, increasing its order book to more than MYR6 billion ($1.47 billion). Its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, VTEB Offshore, received a work order from Petronas Carigali under an existing offshore facilities contract.
The engineering and construction works commenced in the second quarter of 2026 and are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2027. Separately, Vantris Energy’s drilling business received a notice of assignment from Petronas Carigali and a contract from Vestigo Petroleum for drilling rig services. Offshore development drilling campaigns are scheduled to commence sequentially in the third quarter of 2026.
The contracts strengthen Vantris Energy’s position in Malaysia’s offshore market following the completion of its restructuring. The company said it will focus on offshore installation opportunities aligned with its risk profile and maintain its drilling operations in established markets where it has existing capabilities and customer relationships.
