The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited (SC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance clean energy in Vietnam. This five-year collaboration aims to support Vietnam’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions (NZE) by 2050.
Under the MoU, USAID and SC will work together to mobilize private sector investment in advanced energy systems like rooftop solar and power trading, supporting the country’s transition to a greener future. This partnership reflects the shared commitment of the United States and Vietnam to sustainable development.
