US-based automation solutions provider Open System International (OSI) has signed a deal with the National Load Dispatch Centre (NLDC) or A0 – a unit of the state-owned Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Group – for supply of energy management equipment. As per the deal, OSI will supply, install, and test the supervisory control and data acquisition/energy management system at load dispatch centres across Vietnam. The deal is part of the World Bank-funded Second Transmission and Distribution Project that will cost 400 billion dong (1 dong [Vietnam dong] = $0.00005)
