Upland Resources Limited has appointed non-executive chairman Bolhassan Di as CEO, effective immediately. Di is based in Sarawak, where the company has decided to significantly boost its attention on pushing Malaysia’s onshore Block SK334. Bolhassan has extensive oil and gas expertise in South Korea, Singapore, the North Sea region, and the Netherlands with Shell PLC. As an elected member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly and a former employee of the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department and the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Communication, he also has political and business experience in the region.
