The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced USD10 billion in investment in Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund – Indonesia Investment Authority. The focus will be on strategic sectors in Indonesia including infrastructure, roads, ports, tourism, agriculture, and other sectors that have potential for growth. This initiative will largely support national growth specifically infrastructural development and the construction of the new capital in Kalimantan.
