China-based Trina Solar Company Limited has secured a contract from Citicore Construction Incorporated (MCC-CCI) to supply 700 MW of solar modules for several upcoming solar plants across the Philippines. These renewable energy facilities are a part of Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation’s (CREC) 1 GW project pipeline per year leading towards its goal of 5 GW in capacity addition in five years.
Trina will commence the delivery of the Vertex DE21 mono-facial modules in 2024.
