The Government of Sarawak is planning to build a Trans-Borneo Railway across the island of Borneo in Malaysia. A proposal for the rail project has been submitted to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) which will conduct a study before granting approval.
The line will also pass through Sabah, Indonesia and likely Brunei. Further details will be announced in the future.
