Pestech International Bhd has been awarded an RM64.96 million contract to supply traction power to the Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) link assets. Pestech’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pestech Technology Sdn Bhd (PTech) has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from RTS Operations Sdn Bhd (RTSO) for the contract.
PTech will be responsible for the RTS link assets’ traction power supply design, production, delivery, distribution, deployment, testing and commissioning, interfacing, maintenance and repair. The works under the contract are scheduled to be completed on September 30, 2026.
The RTS Link will connect Woodlands in Singapore and Johor Bahru in Malaysia, across the Straits of Johor.
