TPG Telecom has secured more spectrum in Singapore as the internet provider seeks to set itself up as the fourth mobile network operator that will take on Optus’s owner Singapore Telecommunications, M1 and StarHub. The company has bought two lots of 5 MHz spectrum in the 2.5 GHz band for SGD S23.8 million at the general spectrum action. The additional 10 MHz of spectrum will enable the company to further enhance the value of the services offered to Singapore consumers.
