France-based TotalEnergies SE has secured a contract from PT Indo Kordsa Tbk (BRAM) to install 5 MWp of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to partially power its factory operations and other facilities in Citeureup, Indonesia.
Under the terms of the contract, TotalEnergies will install, operate and maintain the PV system. The project will entail the installation of 8,830 modules mounted onto rooftops of BRAM’s five facilities.
Once operational, the solar system is expected to generate around 6,645 MWh of renewable energy (RE) annually and offset 5,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
