Thailand’s state-owned telecom operator TOT is planning to partner with Total Access Communication (Dtac), for offering 4G wireless network services in the country. For this, Dtac will pay 4.51 billion baht on an annual basis to access 60 per cent of TOT’s 2,300 MHz spectrum and setting up 20,000 telecommunication towers. TOT will utilise the remaining 40 per cent of its network capacity to offer its own 4G services using Dtac’s infrastructure.
