NetLink Trust, the owner and operator of Singapore’s core fibre infrastructure, has appointed Tong Yew Heng as its CEO. He replaces Ng Yong Hwee, who stepped down to pursue other interests. Yew Heng previously served as a member of the NetLink Trust’s board of directors. Yew Heng brings over 20 years of experience in senior management positions in various industries. Prior to joining NetLink Trust, Yew Heng was executive vice-president of corporate and market development at ST Electronics. Before that, he was the group CEO of the CitySpring Infrastructure Trust. He also served as a director on the boards of various companies within the CitySpring Group, including City Gas, SingSpring, Basslink and Basslink Telecoms.
