Titan LNG, a gas supplier and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) have completed the bunkering of a new gas-powered tanker in Malaysia. The two firms supplied LNG bunkers to Furetank Rederi AB’s new tanker, the Fure Viten at Pasir Guadang. Due to the tanker’s gas propulsion and a combination of fuel-saving solutions, it reaches a very low energy efficiency design index (EEDI) value of 4.65.
