HSBC Vietnam has appointed Tim Evans as its new CEO. Evans has replaced Pham Hong Hai, who held the position for the last four and a half years. Evans joined the HSBC Group 26 years ago and held many senior leadership roles with the group across three continents and seven markets. Before HSBC Vietnam, Evans served as HSBC’s regional head of commercial banking, international markets in the Asia-Pacific region, covering Bangladesh, Mauritius, New Zealand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam
