The Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia, plans to complete the construction of the third runway of Soekamo-Hatta airport by 2019. The runway will span around 3 km. It requires around 216 hectares of land, of which 90 hectares has already been acquired. The estimated cost of the project is Rp 4 trillion. Currently, the airport taxiway is under construction.
