The Government of Indonesia approves the Greater Bandung LRT project

The Government of Indonesia has approved the Greater Bandung Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. The government has approved two corridors for the LRT project. The two routes are the Babakan Siliwangi-Leuwipanjang route and the Leuwipanjang-Tegalluar route.

The Babakan Siliwangi-Leuwipanjang route corridor will span 10 km and is expected to cost USD639 million and the second corridor is also expected to have a similar length and cost. Additionally, USD639 million will be spent on land acquisition.
