The 207 MW West Huay Bong 2-West Huay Bong 3 wind project in Nakhon Ratchasima province has been commissioned. The two units can individually generate around 350 million units of electricity that will be sold to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. The wind project is likely to reduce the country’s carbon dioxide emissions by 270,000 tonnes and fuel oil imports by 90 million litres per year.
