Telenor to acquire additional spectrum for $80 million

Myanmar-based Telenor Myanmar will acquire an additional 2×10 MHz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz frequency band for $80 million. The operator will utilise the spectrum to support the continued roll-out of its 4G long term evolution (LTE) services. Earlier, in May 2017, it had acquired 2×10 MHz spectrum in the 1800 MHz band for $80 million.
