Telenor Myanmar to support roll out of 4G LTE services

Myanmar-based Telenor Myanmar is paying $80 million to acquire an additional 2×10 MHz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz frequency band. The operator will utilise the spectrum to support the continued roll-out of its 4G LTE services, having acquired its initial allocation of 2×10 MHz in the 1800 MHz band for $80 million in May 2017.
