Malakoff Corporation Berhad has appointed Datuk Syed Faisal Albar Syed A.R. Albar as its new CEO, with effect from July 1, 2014. Prior to this, Syed Faisal was serving as CEO of Gas Malaysia Berhad.
Syed Faisal is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy) degree from Barat College (Lake Forest), USA, and an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Professional certification from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
