SUSI Partners has launched a new investment platform for renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia. The platform will focus on the development and operation of greenfield solar photovoltaic (PV), wind and hydropower assets in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and other countries in the region.
Singapore-based Pacific Impact Development will serve as the developer and project manager. The companies aim to attract international capital as well as boost the sustainable buildout of renewable energy capacity.
By 2025, the ASEAN countries aim to generate 23 per cent of their total energy output from renewables.
