The Northern Power Corporation (NPC) has invited global competitive bids for the supply of materials and equipment for 110 kV substations and overhead lines under the World Bank-funded Distribution Efficiency Project. The contract is divided into six packages. The last date for bid submission is August 13, 2013.
- Package I: Procurement, transportation, installation and testing, along with the commissioning of materials, equipment, and telecommunication system/SCADA for the 110 kV Hoi Hop substation.
- Package II: Procurement, transportation, and installation of transformers for the 110 kV Huong Son and Bim Son substations.
- Package III: Procurement and transportation of materials and equipment for the 110 kV Huong Son and Bim Son substations, along with the 110 kV extension at the 220 kV Bim Son substation.
- Package IV: Procurement and transportation of materials and equipment for the 110 kV Phong Tho and Muong So substations.
- Package V: Procurement and transportation of conductors, earthwire, and accessories for the 110 kV Muong So–Phong Tho, Nam Na 2–Nam Na 3, and Nam Na 2–Muong So overhead lines.
- Package VI: Procurement and transportation of steel towers for the 110 kV Muong So–Phong Tho, Nam Na 2–Nam Na 3, and Nam Na 2–Muong So overhead lines.
