The board of Thai Airways International Plc has appointed Sumeth Damrongchaitham as the new president, replacing Usanee Sangingkoeaw, who was acting president since February 2017. Damrongchaitham will continue the current rehabilitation plan of the airline to enhance its competitiveness. Meanwhile, Sangingkoeaw has been appointed acting executive vice-president for finance and accounting of the company.
